In addition to Torrey's world-famous teaching on the Holy Spirit, this book also contains seven of his shorter works that were taught around the world, at the Moody Bible Institute, and at the churches he pastored—they are: The Deity of Jesus Christ The Power of the Blood The Power of the Holy Spirit The Power of Prayer The Power of the Word of God The Place of Prayer in Evangelism Keep Praying Until God Answers R.A. Torrey was an American pastor, evangelist, author, and educator. Called by D. L. Moody to head the Bible Institute of the Chicago Evangelization Society (now Moody Bible Institute); Dean of Bible Institute of Los Angeles; pastorates included Chicago Avenue Church (now Moody Memorial Church) and Church of the Open Door, Los Angeles. R. A. Torrey was asked to speak at a memorial service for D. L. Moody, and his address, "Why God Used D. L. Moody," became one of his most popular works. Torrey wrote more than forty books, including his equally world famous, The Power of Prayer and Praying With Power.
